New Feature: Refund Protect

We have partnered up with Refund Protect, A service that allows guests to protect their booking, this offers them reassurance that the full cost of their booking will be refunded to them - at no cost to organisers - should they have to cancel their booking for any unforeseen reason.

Benefits to you:
  • You'll receive less refund requests direct to you.
  • All admin is handled by Refund Protect, in the situation of a refund claim, the guest does not need to contact you.
  • Refund Protect is automatically setup on all selling events.
Some scenarios which are covered are:
  • Accident
  • Injury
  • Pregnancy related conditions
  • Redundancy
  • Pre-existing medical conditions
  • emergency recall
  • Adverse weather
  • Jury Service

Compared to other ticketing companies, we opted to make this feature as subtle as possible to the checkout flow, by offering a checkbox opted in opposed to confirmation buttons or radio boxes where the users input is required. This means if the user is not interested in applying the refund protect then it won't add any additional steps to the checkout flow.

Next up we plan on adding Event Protect, an insurance solution for event organisers, once opted in will apply to all your transactions, and will protect your event against forced cancellation. More info on this will be released later.
